GTX 460 Power

I bought a 2nd hand GTX 460 and installed it last night.

On it it has 2 x 6 pin connectors and in the box, there were 2 molex converter to 6 pin cables.
Each of these cables converts 2 x molex -> 1 x 6 pin connector.

I connected just 1 x 6 pin converter cable (which means 2 x molex in) and the card booted fine and ran 3dmark.

Does that mean I really need to connect the other one too?

Yes, connect the other one also. It may run fine on 1 for now but you will have crashes/lock ups/bsods possibly if you don't connect the other.

Connect the other one, i experienced some crashing when only using the 1 connector when i had to at that time
