Hey... This is possibly the strangest thread I have started, but basically: As a guy, I have noticed there are so many different hair gells and so on, and I am just wondering what is the best one that does no damage to your hair? On top of that, what is the best shampoo? I was told by my hair dresser that head and shoulders is bad for your hair, so I stopped using that Any advice
Shampoo - I use head and shoulders. Gel - The mighty head shrink: Somehow I've posted that pic 3 times in as many weeks
From what i've gathered, get a whole bunch and alternate between them. It's what the girls do, its supposed to be better for your hair. Or you can take a Man's point of view, soap is soap, they are all the same !
For styling i use "L'Oreal tecni.art fix max" its a salon professional product i believe and it is very good! As for shampoo i use fructis just cos i like the smell!
VO5 Styling putty. Garnier Fructis Hair Spray. Theres no problem that can't be fixed with a good hair spray I find .
Alot of people here will recommend Fudge products and American Crew Fibre. Myself, I use V05 Rework Fibre Putty stuff.
Depends on your hairstyle mate, you want a stong hold, natural look - have a play with a few different ones, you can get a good idea of what they'll be like by opening them in the shop usually
that stuff does nothing good for your hair. yucky stuff. i use: Shampoo - Original Source Rose (Taming and Defining) Conditioner - same as above "Gel" - Tigi Texturising Pomade FGS, imageshack is a pile of crap today
To be fair, I've never really used anything else, so dont know if I'm missing anyawy. What's so bad about it? Good taste
Redken do a good range for men. You can get their products from various suppliers on the net. Personally I use their Go Clean shampoo and Finish Up conditioner. As for styling products I use Toni & Guy X-Wax and V05 Texturising Gum.
We did old man but now everything has changed for the discerning metro. Brylcream Strong Wax is the key!
Urban rites for men is pretty good. They're quite expensive though unless you find them in Wilkenson's or Pounland
