I have a large appetite. So does my mate. We are both over 6'2" and big. I weigh around 16 stone and he weighs about 19 stone. I lift weights, he doesn't.

I can pick him up or carry him on my back, he has no hope of that. OK, that means I'm stronger than him. Muscles as you say, well thats harder because its hard to determine the size of his muscles under the blubber but I would imagine with the same BF I would be a lot bigger than him.

In other words, lifting heavy weights means muscles grow. Food is essential fuel for the successful development and repair of muscles after lifting weights. Just eating makes you fat.
