Hey everyone,

I'm currently running my Corsair H80i V2 with one fan (case size constraints). I'm thinking the fan is way too loud and want to replace it with maybe a Noctua fan. Only trouble is a lot of the fans are 1500rpm MAX. Having just one fan on my cooler rad, how high of an rpm should I look for in a fan replacement? 2400? or 2000rpm (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Noctua-NF-...keywords=noctua+2000rpm&qid=1586614868&sr=8-1)

Fan must be 120mm.

Thank you for any replies :)

@Steven Hughes firstly no linking to competitors I'm afraid.
Secondly more details case, motherboard, processor, AIO make and Type there could be settings/solutions to reduce your temps there.

Have u tried just setting the fan speed via the motherboard, also any fan above 1900 is going to be a little noisy.

Hey Steven,
im kind of in a similar situation, I have a Streacom DA2, and have squeezed a RTX 2070 watercooled GPU and the H80! , i fooled myself into thinking it wold be fine, but the corsair fans are bloody huge man, so i also went for one fan,

but i run mine about 900 rpm, which seems to be coping and not really nosy, to be fair even at full belt its not bad, which way to you have the fan, mines behind the rad, pulling air thru, ! so might hide some of the noise

also and slightly related, i ordered 4 of these from clockers (currently oos) https://www.overclockers.co.uk/nf-a12x15-pwm-chromax-black-swap-fan-120mm-fg-07j-nc.html

i have 2 at the top of my case and two at the bottom, and keep the case pretty cool

anyway i had one of those light bulb moments the other day, maybe two of these would work on the H80i ? as they are only 15mm thick what you think ?
