    Already got this great little mod made me replay the entire game, that and the bloom effect turned on it look great :D recommend this mod to all.

    how high end are we talking to get this running well?

    I have an x800 XT PE and 2.5ghz A64 San Diego core and 2Gb DDR?

    Will give it a go I think :)

    Is this the mod that improves the faces of the main characters or is it a newer one?

    it says on the site, direct X 9 with 256 memory, so thats 6800 and x850 and above, to run it at any decent frame rate, 2gig of memory would probabally help as well

    This is the mod that makes Alyx look like a porn star, dont know if thats a bad or good thing. :confused:

    I think its the mod ive already got then. It runs well enough on 6800GT 2Gb Ram.

    Yeah looks better if you have a larger TFT you can really notice the increased texture res.

    the screenshots do look better, but not really that special, ill give it a go anyway, maybe its more impressive when you actually play it yourself

    Apart from the OTT bump mapping on the character models, that looks pretty darn sweet!

    What chance of it running on a 256mb 9800XT do ya reckon?

    Some of it looks a lot better, others though look quite pants, especially on the printer in that pic, as you can see he low-detail of the printer, it just dosn't look right with it.

    But the model detail does look great on NPCs.

    I think those screenshots were taken before the bump mapping fix was released (about a week ago?)
