hi Im only running 1 SATA-II 80gb hard drive with my programs & OS on there & then ive got a 500GB external for everything else.

Ive had enough of uninstalling & installing again so im buying a new hard drive to put more games on the 2nd drive.

Will this be slower or the same as it still gets sent ot the ram the same way???

Or should i buy 2 and raid0 the OS & games/programs And take the old 80gb out.

    Thank You

    Mike

    Buy a Samsung F3 1tb
partition it to say 80gb for OS
rest can be for games and stuff
Then use something like acronis to clone your current 80gb the new 80gb partition
Then keep the 80gb as an OS clone

That or buy a 64gb SSD and a 500gb/1tb for your games

oh rite so id plug in new hard drive

Simple way of copying and pasting my old hard drive onto my 1TB.

then use my old 80gb as a back up if anything goes wrong.

    Or

A solid state for os and a 500gb sata for games and programs???

Whats the best way out of the 2? cos i believe this is what lets my system down as i never took it in 2 moderation :(

    Cheers
