anyone seen the news on Maguire? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53860014 I'm told it was fisty cuffs with a greek police officer but yet to see that confirmed by reliable sources! If so chances of starting the season vs bunking up with a Greek cell mate?

Cheeky backhander to the cop setting him up for life will soon sort that out.
Presumably someone around him will pay somebody who knows somebody and an envelope will go to the right place and it will all be a misunderstanding. If it's like the VAR decisions it'll inevitably go Utd's way and they'll probably end up getting paid for the trouble for good measure.
Ed Woodward is currently negotiating the terms of this - he wants to pay it over 3 years with add-ons.
Id just leave him there to be honest.

his lawyer, sorry more likely Man Utd's lawyers (plural), will presumably argue risk of covid and find a way for him to do at worst a glorified house arrest in some luxury greek villa getting waited on and no doubt serviced by some very attractive maids. The aggrevated assult part is getting me. Im no law buff (Well football laws im a professional ref) but it doesnt read well. I thought he'd get off but :
