Haswell-E replacement

Looking to replace my aging Haswell-E system with a Ryzen 3/4 and hoping someone can double check my items to see if they are optimal?
I doubt I'll be re-using anything (except the monitor obvs..)

Current system:-
5820k (not overclocked)
MSI X99 Krait
64GB DDR4-2400 Crucial
MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr
Multiple SSDs
Fractal F5 case
Alienware AW3418DW and Dell 25"

System is used for gaming and labbing (VMware workstation running 10+ VMs).
Games are mainly FPS e.g Borderlands, Bioshock, Fallout, Farcry etc

So this is what I'm thinking about:-
CPU -> AMD 3600 (and replace with a 4900X at the end of the year)
Motherboard -> MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk
RAM -> Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64GB 3600Mhz
GPU -> Re-use GTX970 until Ampere is released, I need Gsync.
Power Supply -> Corsair TX650W
Case -> Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic
Cooler -> Noctua NH-D15
System drive -> Samsung 970 EVO 1TB Nvme
Games drive -> Samsung 860 EVO 2TB
Storage disk -> WD Black 4TB HDD
Keyboard -> Ducky One2 Mini 60% RGB USB Mechanical
Mouse -> Keep existing Logitech G305
Speakers -> Could really do with a recommendation

I will be purchasing another monitor to go with my current 34".
Probably something like the Alienware AW3420DW.

Any help appreciated.

Noctua NH-D15 wont fit in your case, its 10mm too tall (I know because I own that case & I've had no end of trouble trying to find a CPU cooler that will fit.) In fact none of the popular Large (120mm fans or larger) CPU air tower coolers that ocuk have in stock will fit. A few Thermalright coolers will fit that case as I have one. you need a CPU cooler 155mm tall or preferably less.
There are 92mm air tower coolers that will go in that case, but the 3600 runs hot under load so you need a larger CPU cooler.

If you're intending to buy now availability of many parts is quite bad.
Especially PSU stock situation is pretty horrible and these are only PSUs in stock/really known availability:

With pretty expensive PC coming would anyway take that 10 year warranty+notch higher efficiency Fractal Design.

Also while definitely one of the absolute top choises, X570 Tomahawk's availability might be like month away.
There's no firm restocking date and there are no doubt existing orders.
So who knows when those are fullfilled and there's first in free stock.
If not needing Wifi, X570 Aorus Elite would be well featured package and in stock.

And like said by Grimley that case is totally UNdynamic peculiarity for the sake of peculiarity.
In fact there are very little tower coolers which fit into it.
Cryorig H7 and Scythe Fuma 2/Mugen 5 are one of the few.
Days when Lian Lis were designed for functionality are far behind.

Also definitely don't buy any new G-Sync only monitors.
None other than brand overpriced Nvidia will be supporting it, while Nvidia removed artificial disable FreeSync bit from the drivers in last year's January.

Argh thanks for the replies.

Maybe I need to stick with Fractal or a Phantek.
Storage wise I don't know if I'll see a real world difference with the PCIe v4 drives and I've always had Samsung drives with zero issue (I do have an Crucial MX500 in a box that's been sitting there for > 6 months).

I hear what you're saying about monitors but my current one is gsync based so I need to stick with it.
I'm buying the AW3420DW because my current one is so good and the warranty is also excellent.
