Hi, please can anyone help, my mate has built a system as below and hes only getting around 7500 3dmark05
    p4 3.0ghz 2MB 64BIT
    2gb corsair xms2 400 (4 x 512)
2x xfx 7800gtx xxx gamer editions
    ABIT NI8-SLI
    600w silverstone atx2 psu..
    etc.. etc..

thought it may have been cpu bottleneckk so i managed to get cpu overclock of 3500 mhz and score got to almost 8k.

    any help greatly appreciated

Have you checked to make sure v-sync is turned off?

Is your mate is choosing the 3d mark 05 profile setting in the 7800gtx control panel when testing...

Afraid your score looks about right.
    I used to have a PD 3ghz & with 2x7800gtx got 7700 in 3dmk05.
Thats why I went AMD & got 13400 instead.
Reckon you would get 4400 in 3dmk06 which is not bad though probably due to dual core.

That is bad, single x1800 XT here on an A64 3500+, all stock gets about 8.5k, surely he should get more than that with 2x GTX's.
