Help - I'm New To This - Overclocking and Unlocking X800GTO2

Hi, im 15 and my dad has just bought me a new computer, the gfx card i have is the X800 GTO² and i have heard that this card can be unlocked to flash the bios giving me 16 pipelines and also overclock the card for it to run faster........is there any tips advice and links you can give me that will help me do this......and could you also tell me what sort of software i should use and where to get it.

i am new to all this so any help given will be much appreciated.
i do not want to risk damaging my card..(could this happen)

I also have this card and have unlocked the extra pipelines and overclocked it to X850 speeds. It preforms really well. In 3DMark 03 my points went from 9326 to 12134 and in 3DMark 05 my score went from 4367 to 6221.

I unlocked the pipelines using this guide and i used ATITool to overclock the card.

That's one of the stickies in the Graphics Forum - should take you through the procedure nicely. This would probably do better in that forum tbh if a passing don wants to move it some time.
