I have my XFX 7900GTX water cooled, it's defalts are 675/1700.
When i try to overclock i can only get to 690ish on the core before i have problems.
When idle i get about 38c for the temperature and 45c maximum under load so it's not overheating. And i never get any graphics glitches, it will just lock up past 690mhz.

What do you think will help me overclock it more? i'm using coolbits to overclock. I cant really overclock the memory any more because it has no cooling on it, but i'm just interested in the core anyway.

Dont forget m8 that the card you have is allready overclocked and what you are getting is the card maxed out.

I would put some heatsinks on the ram for starters :)

It could very well already be maxed, but you could try overclocking with Rivatuner instead. Also, underclock your memory a little to take that out of the equation.
