Help needed PC upgrade

Hi sorry if this has already been asked but been looking around and couldn't find a answer to my question. I want to upgrade my gpu to a 1080 but didn' know if my current rig would need upgrading too. I have

I5 4690k devils canyon cpu (not overcooked yet)
Asus sabertooth z97 motherboard mark1
Corsair ven lp 1600mhz 16gd ddr3
Corsair rm750x 80+ gold power

I will be buying a AOC 165hz 2650x1440 monitor with g sync aswell as a 1080. Thanks in advance Andy

Nothing wrong with that rig except it's not overclocked!

Make sure you don't overcook it, burnt processors are not working, lol.

Overclock CPU, though at higher Res CPU plays a lessor role .
Also, get gtx 1080 11gbps version , should be around £520 , if not get a gtx 1070 Ti , since is so close to a standard gtx 1080 10gbps version
