The one currently in it just doesn't hold it's charge anymore.after a full discharge/recharge its dead within a day, even if I don't use it.

Does anyone know a good website for a battery for it.the official canon one is quite expensive, are there any 3rd party ones anyone could point me in the direction of :)?
Thank you :)

It took me ages to track a decent one down, it arrived damaged (the lock mech) and they couldn't replace it as they didn't have anymore in stock. They did refund me, and I then took it all apart and sort of fixed it... I've just checked their website and unfortunately they seem to no longer be in business :(

They are some on the jungle river site... It's worth keeping your existing battery and swapping the end cap when you get the replacement. The 3rd party batteries don't have very good locking mechs or seals, so swapping it for the one off your current battery is worth a look (it's just a couple of screws).
