Also (this will be my first build so i'm sort of clueless), do i need anything else to put this together and make it run? (Cables, brackets etc.)

Any help is much appreciated

2 small things.

PSU - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/supe...old-modular-power-supply-black-ca-05c-sf.html

And £600 is top money for a 1080, there are many fantastic alternatives starting from £540 and up,

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £2,869.65
(includes shipping: £11.70)

Thermal paste comes with the H100.

PSU has power cables and all cables for the items.

Motherboard has SATA cables.

You need nothing more.

You probably have it taken care of but just in case, and as it's easy to forget stuff with the first build - Windows 10.

Cheers for your help mate,

What's the difference in the PSU's?

Looking around I've got the impression the Zotac 1080 AMP Extreme was one of the better 1080's out there, the price difference doesn't matter too much to me, but would any of the cards you listed perform any better?

The PSU is still a top one just like the XFX and just like a EVGA, its just cheaper at £10 less.

As for the cards I remeber reading the reviews of all those and they are all top performers in terms of nosie etc, The Aorus one claims to have higher core+boost speeds but at £600 you could say you its only £50 more for a 1080Ti - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...dr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-21h-ok.html
