Hey fellow OCUK'ers
I've never setup a watercooling setup before, but i've done a good amount of background reading, and understand what I need - a radiator, tube, fitting, fluid, pump, res and blocks.
Im into ethereum mining, and want to setup a 6 x watercooled rig. I've ordered 6 x 1070 SEA HAWK (come wtih EK blocks), arriving Saturday - so hoping to put in an OCUK order tomorrow for the rest of the parts, so I can try a build out at weekend.
My CPU socket is 1151, but from reading briefly earlier, if I add a block here, I'll need another fan to cover other motherboard board components which it passively cooled - e.g. near MOSFETs [ not sure if this is true ], so a block for the CPU, I am not sure if required.
Please can somebody kindly help me spec a medium-end-build - looking around the £300 budget, but happy for it to be less, and / or more, basically not the top top, and not the worst things.
Other points/questions
-> The cards will be running 24/7, and - running memory at 100%, and GPU core at close to 0%, so TDP probably (I guess) around 130W/card
-> I am not sure if 1 x triple radiator would be suffcient [my case can probably fit 1 x triple radiator, otherwise I think i'll need to mount external?]
-> I have no clue over if this needs more than 1 loop, nor how this would be configured
-> Nor if needs more than 1 radiator, how these should be setup, e.g. pump -> GPUs-> rad -> GPUs -> rad -> back to pump?
Apologies if this feels like quite a newbie question - i've tried my best to do a decent amount of background reading - but not many examples with 6 x graphics cards, and being paranoid, I want to make sure I do not put in an order for stuff which doesnt make sense / that I can not setup this weekend!!!
