High CSS pings...

Hi, recently I seem to be getting extremly high Counter-strike pings. Well over 100. I tried re-installing but it hasn't changed anything.
I'm with AOL, but before you all laugh I have been with them for years and not had any ping issues. Although recently I was upgraded to 1Mbit. Perhaps this could be a problem?

My internet connection is fine and on bandwidth tests am getting 900k+

This doesn't help you mate, but I'm with AOL and play Day of Defeat:Source regularly.

I usually ping around 20-40 max on most UK servers and I've recently taken part in the AOL trial for the 8Mb service which I'm on at the moment.

Ping again has dropped a wee bit, to around 20.

Sounds like you have another issue there, rather than an ISP problem.

How are you connecting?. Through a router or a USB modem?.
