Hi all

Does anyone know where I can get a free hit counter, preferably one that I don't have to signup for, or if I am required to, I wont be getting lots a junk email, the charity I'm helping doesn't want to have to look through lots of junk mail.

I was looking at statcounter.com, but I was unable to find if they'd be bothered with lots of unwanted mail.

Thanks.

what do you need a hit counter for?

check the hits on your server ... it's on the Cpanel ... all the stats you could ever want are there. (or are you on a free webhost?)

pity

you can get good hosting for as little as £10-£15 a year .. with your own cpanel and email addresses, hit stats, everything.

anyway ... hope you find a good hit counter

Hit counters make the site seem very amateurish, unless it's absolutely vital you know how many visitors you are recieving, I suggest you don't use them.

Also, don't they record hits, rather than unique visitors? Making the information pretty irrelevant anyway?
