Hollow/Plaster walls, how do you mount Speakers on them?

Sound wise, its never gonna be perfect, but speakers are good with a slight gap between them and the wall, not a huge gap, so if had a bracket it could be a slight gap away from the wall when the speaker is mounted

My Tannoy Arena speakers have been up for well over 6 months using these type of fixings: http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat...=12229&ts=60071
The speakers are solid aluminium & way around 3kg apiece & have been driven to extremely loud noise levels (the benefit of living in a detached house). They have not fallen off yet
