Need some quick advice and thoughts from people on the subject of a bonnet being resprayed..the dealer is offering me a deal for £9700 with the bonnet repainted (there are quite a few stone chips) or £9500 without the spray being done. I think I could probably push this down by another £100 as he's had the car literally a week and a half and not even done anything to it!

I'm guessing the price inclusive of bonnet respray isn't unreasonable for it but I'm not sure I would bother it and just get the matching Honda paint and cover them up!

stone chips on the bonnet are extremely common on this gen of Civic, I have quite a few on mine. Strangely however my bumper & splitter are nowhere near as bad.

It's definitely worth getting the respray included.

A friend has one, lovely looking car and I love the rear bench in it!

But the stone chips are a complete joke! He takes very good care of it and its always waxed up, but the paint work is terrible! Stone chips everywhere.
