2700X and a 3080 FE, seems to use all the cores but its not that CPU intensive.

X5650 @ 4.4 and a 1070, using all six cores at around 50-65% usage, maxing out the GPU @ 3096 x 1296 rez.

i was playing this on a 2500k with a 980ti and at times it was so laggy now after buying a Ryzen 3600 I average 60fps mostly at max settings without all the stuttering

Wow, this works for me!

Normally I just bypass that caching at the start, because I know the game will ask for the same thing again the next time it's launched, and it's quite a slow process.

Tried the "fix" yesterday, sat twiddling my thumbs while it cached, played for a half an hour or so, then relaunched the game, no caching asked for!

Honestly though, I can't see any difference, but I'm sure there must be, loading times seem the same in-game, though the initial launch may be quicker.

As ain't this a 4 year old PS4 game that just been converted to PC

Fewer pixels to push = more fps.

I have a couple more custom resolutions set up to help with frame rates in more demanding games, whilst keeping most settings at max.

I think you’ll find this PS4 game has better graphics than 99% of PC games.

Crazy to think that for 2017. The game and story still holds up extremely well to this day.

Hopefully, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a fantastic experience but there are some who didn’t like the emptiness of the world.

Get The Frozen Wilds as well if you've not already bought The Complete Edition. Totally worth it.

I think that mainly comes from the console coding otherwise it would bog down. That was one thing I hated about that on the PS4 back then. I'd try to lure machines from one area to another for one massive crazy fight but sadly, once you ran a little too far they'd respawn back to their respective area.

I found it exactly the same. Just dull. Death stranding was rivetting in comparison. Horses for courses and that.
