horizontal lines flickering on hitman

    Finally got around to getting a graphics card. Installed hitman from steam and for some reason theres horizontal lines flickering across the game.

    no idea if its systems related but my system is

    i5 6600
    rx580
    asus h110 ddr4
    kingstorn fury 16gb
    using an old monitor with vga to hdmi adapter to gpu

    everything is on highest settings.

    if anyone got any advice please let me know.
