How Bigs Your Music Collection?

    Just curious to be honest, how many files have you got, and how big is it in total?

    Ive currently got 1262 tracks which totals at 4.6GB

    I think I have 80/90 data CDs (mostly full, not sure how many files that is but its a fair old amount of space) and on my HDD I have 4Gb.

    My proper CD collection is fairly huge :) Hundreds of CDs, but they never see the light of day.

    I have around 4,000 tracks on my mp3 player, comes to about 16GB but I've got a lot of cds that I haven't got around to ripping yet.

    Well apart from the LP's and the singles there's the cassetes and a lot of CD's. I have around 10Gb on this rig currently, I tend to just keep what I listen to regularly on it as I've been collecting music for around 37 years.

    that's a fairly high bitrate if i'm not mistaken!

    i've got 31Gb backed up, and around 26 that currently occupy my ipod. equates to about ~4k songs. all mp3 > 192kbps. does me nicely.

    Might be more songs then, I ain't checked in a while, and it's all spread around a million folders, I really need to sort it out :/

    i did that a few weeks ago. very nice feeling - but it took about 4 hours, and that was only like 4000 songs (including putting everything into its "correct" genre!).

    RealPlayer here! Sorts them up nicely even on the hard disk (files & folders) :cool:
