How do you deal with nose hair?

I've heard that plucking can give you nasty infections. Could just be metrosexual pussyfooting, though. I think I've never had a problem with them before because when I was about 19 my friends and I had a fire-snorting competition. It's seemed more and more a dumb idea over the years, but I think the genius side's beginning to show again.
