How does HE warranty work?

I have my shiny new macbook pro and its superb!!!

How does the HE warranty work? Do i need to register my new laptop to get 3 years or is it automatic? All i did was setup the laptop and start using it.

If its a higher education purchase, they should send through the Apple Care documents if you bought it online. It should already be in their system regardless, unless they've changed the HE discount policy.

You'll get the details through eventually, just need to wait and wait and wait!

Online it currently shows only a one years warranty. I will check again soon!

You'll get an email in a few weeks. With an attachment of your 3 year uplift.

"Please find attached the AppleCare Higher Education Uplift agreement."

Only then will it reflect online the full 3 years. This can take from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to come through though. Patience is the key you're in the system.
