Best ive ever managed is about 1minute 30.

My favourite trick when I was younger at the swimming baths with mates was to tell them im holding my breath and breath off the bubble things at the bottom of the pool :D

Wow, i used to do a lot of snorkeling it seems i did most of that without knowing it was doing me good. I'm parp at holding my breath now, but a few years ago when i was swimming and snorkeling/diving regulary, i could hold my breath for a good few mins although i never needed to count how long.

Did the people smell bad or something? :p
It sounds like an odd place to hold your breath otherwise

Heh, true. I was waiting for a train and I was bored. There was the big clicky clock so I thought I'd time myself against that to pass the time!

About ~30 seconds underwater. Not sure about in air. Maybe I'll try now!

If I never post again, assume the worst :p

Before you go, write me your car, I will take good care of her ;)

I used to be able to get to around 3 mins when I used to swim a lot. usualy though i'd do it whilst tring to swim lenghts totaly underwater. Not sure what I could have managed without.

Once though I managed a good 4 mins but I put that down to total luck as during the holding I swallowed a few times which somehow gave me some extra air. Never managed it since though.
