Hi Guys,

I am about to start building my 8700k/1080ti rig but I'm currently waiting for the asus formula mobo to come out. This will be my first custom loop build and I want to make sure it is easily capable of handling all the hardware and overclocks.

For a bit of context I intend to cool the cpu, gpu and vrm and was wondering if a single 480mm rad will be enough or if i should add another.

Build Specs are:

case - 900d
cpu - 8700k (will OC)
gpu - aorus xtreme 1080ti (will OC)
ram 32gb kingston savage 3000mhz
mobo - Asus Maximus X formula if it comes out
psu - ax860i
ssd - 850 evo 1tb
hdd - 2tb wd black

Yep a quality 480 mm will be fine. Will be able to run the fans at pretty reasonable speeds while keeping water temps down.

Brill thanks for the advice EKWB's configurator suggested i would need a 360mm in the rough as well but I wasn't sure if they were just money grabbing.
