how to find what program is running in task manager

    right bit of newbie help needed ,playing bf2 and all got jumpy so closes down and opened task manager the was a something running system,system ,it might be an update for something but how do you find out whats running i.e. what program and not just" system"
    sorry if it sounds stupid but its late and i`am really peved off

    it is very useful tool,
    but still no system in there might be an .ini file
