Haha classic!

Wish there were more people out there who think outside the box :D

strip club - way to go to degrade human society and treat women as object whilst not forgetting to mention that it makes men look weak in that they have to pay to see such things.

That sounds like a comment from a man who has never been to the Blue Velvet club. ;)

Last thing I heard, girls who work in legitimate clubs are not forced into it and get paid well for what they do. Pole dancing clubs are harmless fun and there is a market for such places. If folk don't like such things, don't go in. Simple as !

...my mate is approached by two ladies, who say a private dance with both of them is £20. Cue the end when they ask for £80. ....

Crafty, i thought the usual method was to get the cash up front

Its the same as porn. Its only degrading to those involved if its crap.......

Degrading? The record earnings in his Plymouth club is £800 in one night, i'm sure the woman involved felt aweful

Whos it harming? If you dont wanna see it, dont go in....whats wrong with these people!?

Some people believe that Newquay still has a "bucket and spade" holiday image. The selection of shops you drive passed go :- bar, bar, surfshop, takeaway, surfshop, bar, takeaway, surfshop, bar, etc, etc.

I also loved the way they complained about the women walking around wearing next to nothing and causing their to be hoards of randy men wandering the streets. Umm, they have heard about Run To The Sun haven't they? :p

Talking of gentlemen's clubs - for anyone in the Norwich area - Devil's Advocate in the town centre. Oooh la la, no '3ft rule' there.

Can recommend Laura (looks a bit like Dita Von Teese), not the prettiest, but the best by a mile! ;)

Heh, the place my friend has got into already had a lapdancing licence and ran for just under a year (Spearmint Rhino) but as they never advertised, nobody complained! They had a '3ft rule', the new place has a '3 rizlas rule' :D

It's the men I think are sad and pathetic in Strip clubs - Not the women ;)

The women are earning mega bucks and most of them probably really enjoy it whilst the men are getting fleeced of silly amounts of money just to see some boobies !

Teensie bit of a difference between adult women choosing to dance partially naked and someone knocking up a child ne pensez-vous pas ?

They are not the same, of course, but it is the same subject (sexual freedom) and they are at different ends of the same scale.

I expect few to agree with my standpoint, but a healthy sexual relationship is part of a strong marriage and that in turn leads to a strong family. Families are the foundation of a stable society so yes, I do see such clubs and the lowering of sexual standards as being dangerous.

Perhaps I live under the different coloured sky that the OP was talking about. :(

The men enjoy themselves and the women get rich, can't see anything sad or pathetic about that? :)

Plus £20 a dance is hardly mega-bucks.

I just think it's all a bit " silly "

£20 for some bird to dance for you but you know she's only doing it for the money. She doesn't fancy you, she's not turned on by you and she's probably thinking about what to cook for dinner when she gets home :p

Wouldn't you rather your girlfriend, who loves you, to do that for free and not worry about some 3 ft rule ?

I'm not offended by strip clubs in the slighest and have respect for the Women earning some decent money from daft men willing to pay for it

Yeah but face it, if you where single, drunk, and perhaps a bit bored, you would pay good money to have me dancing naked on your lap. :D
