i5 6500 temps on stock cooler?

Hi

I wonder if anybody can help me, im trying to troubleshoot my friends setup who lives approx 100miles away so its all by phone. He recently built a setup with an i5 6500 using the heatsink it came with. In the bios the temps average between 49-50c and in memtest can get as high as 75c after 10mins. To me this feels like the heatsink isnt on correctly, but i have no idea of the idle/full load temps on stock cooler for this cpu and browsing the internet hasnt found any real results (all use different coolers etc).

Any of you guys chime in if you have a skylake i5, using stock cooler, what temps you are getting?

Looks about right for a stock cooler, playing games probably wont stress it as much as memtest so should be fine.

Sounds about right, stock coolers aren't great. Do you have a rear exhaust fan in the case?
