I've had a good search but can't find how to solve this.

I am sorting out a new layout for a site with CSS, positioning the company logo over the banner image.

The logo was made in photoshop and exported to PNG, its rounded and has hollow bits and looks great when I checked it on IE7, howver when I looked at it in IE6 and slim browser the edgesof the transparency are all messed up.

I then tried it in GIF and although it worked the same in all the browsers the edge to the transparency looked rubbish.

Is there any way I can make it look nice and smooth? Like some form of anti alaising technique?

The only other way I thought of doing it is with flash which I know will work but its a bit of a pain and obviously not everyone has flash installed (although more than have IE 7 installed!)

Cheers

Dave
