Wish i was in a Ramen Shop Counter
@Raymond Lin - apologies i missed your reply (i think i had to travel within hours of my post - and then promptly forgot). Suddenly remembered as i was browsing YouTube reviews again today.

Really, appreciate the detailed reply - and, as usual, your informed response has proved very useful. I've now got time to start looking again - and your additional pros for the Spark really sell it. And your Marshall reasoning makes a lot of sense - and could see it having a dual use. Win, win.

The only downside is the US despatch - but not a deal breaker.

My other problem is that i've started browsing guitars again (acoustics). I recently bought my first PRS acoustic and have been really impressed with the quality and sound for the money. It was an impulse buy during lockdown - bought it to pass on but decided to keep as i love the sound and feel of it. I would have paid 3 times the listed price had i played it blind, a real gem... (PRS SE T40E)

People on forums are reporting a delivery time scale of as little as 11 days so they have improved substantially.

There are reports of hum in quite a few but not a problem with mine. But you can request a replacement free of charge on their site.

I think it’s a great tool and amp for value. No it doesn’t sound like my Bogner but it’s like 1/10th or the cost and does more, a lot more and wont’t get my neighbours knocking on the door complaining.

Some new old stock RCA 6CG7 valves to add to the vintage valve collection for my amps and some B9A pin protectors.

The vintage collection has grown a fair bit in 9 months.

Finally found a non-tatty BMW M5 in the colour I wanted and with the 'essential' work done - I must be allergic to money :p
A few cosmetic issues to sort, but in absolutely perfect mechanical condition as far as I can tell, with zero issues showing on the fancy-pants diagnostics kit I bought for the 530d.

81,000 miles, crank shells and VANOS solenoids / line done, A/C still lovely and cold and most importantly... the parking sensors work! :D

Needs a wash, but I thought she deserved a decent plate given what an absolutely heroically capable machine she really is!
'Ring trip already being planned, and although the MPG is absolutely shocking (of course) I'm utterly convinced it's worth every penny.

And no, I won't wash it (yet :p)

New job and more work from home = new chair. JL Comfurni Gaming Chair, decent price and loving it so far. Only gripe is no padded arm rests which is strange as everything else is padded and it even comes with two pillow. Replaces my £65 Argos chair from 2010.

Old 32" non-HD TV died, a cheapo model from Morrisons about 9 years ago, it did well! So decided to finally upgrade a bit. Samsung 50" 4k 7100K. MASSIVE difference having not even entered the world of HD before. The sound is stunning, great app options etc. Still at the fairly cheap end of the smart TV scale, but I'm really enjoying it. TV swivel wall mount too, so it can be in the corner, or flat against either wall depending on what we're doing.
Also excuse the mess. 8 week old baby, things get messy quickly!
