I feel your pain with clothes sizes though I'm really tall and hate how almost everything is just upsized to save cost...

Almost all trousers , jeans etc are designed for people with drain pipe legs

Edit: The fact is, you can find a suit to match the contour of your legs, not like you are wearing a parachute, regardless of your size. You may have to make a few simple alterations that any tailor can do for you for a minimal charge.
