Anyone got reccommendations of good heavy(metal) bands or songs that are really angry, raw and rage fueled?

Depends since you have't mentioned any bands that similar to what you want, but here are a few bands that i'd say fitted your description

    Napalm Death
    Cannibal Corpse

    The Haunted
    The Black Dahlia Murder
    All Shall Perish
    As I Lay Dying

    Maybe some of those.

Check out some early Sepultura and Fear Factory, they win hands down over the more recent crop of metal bands.

    Some more bands:

    Dying Fetus
    Strapping Young Lad
    The Berzerker

If these are too brutal for you, you may want some thrash like Slayer, At The Gates, or like Random Tom Suggested, The Haunted

Also Arch Enemy, not on the same level as some of the other bands mentioned, but Angela Gossow... :)

Pantera are less than jovial :D

I also echo Big Chris suggestions, Fear Factory are awesome, as are Sepultura before Max left.

On the basis that metal is rubbish, check out any of the first three albums from ...And You WIll Know Us By The Trail Of Dead for the best heavy rock of all time.

Gib786 - he asked for music with balls, not some emasculated gimp with a moustache whining about stuff.

For sheer brutality, buy the 'German' CD from Earache Records - It's Iron Monkey's two albums in one case. [Edit: Scratch that, just checked the webstore - they're only doing them seperately now; £8.57 each]

There has never been a band with the presence, power or sheer attitude of Iron Monkey.

Once you've listened to both albums many, many times, move on to Charger, early Pitch Shifter (give Brutal Cancroid or Gritter a spin), Carcass, Napalm Death (Circa Plague Rages/Breed To Breathe), Brujeria for a giggle, and finally The Berzerker and Agoraphobic Nosebleed just because they're simultaniously brilliantly heavy and terrible.
