I’ve got the itch to upgrade some bits of my pc, no real reason to upgrade to be honest I just fancy changing it up.
The case & psu I bought new in 2006, the other bits I’ve picked up mainly second hand over the years.
i7-930 @ 3.8Ghz
Asus P6X58DE
16GB (2x8GB) Kingston Hyper-x Blue 12800
HD 5870 (oc’d)
Samsung 120GB 830 SSD
Corsair HX520
Lian Li PC-7
23” Samsung S23A700D
So far I’ve looked at a 7950 and spend a bit less or a new cpu & mobo and keep the 5870 for a bit longer.
in an ideal world I'd buy both, i just don't get the time to justify everything at the moment.
I don’t fancy doing anything multi gpu so whilst I keep looking at a new PSU I hopefully won’t need to upgrade it for any of the changes I make, unless you think otherwise.
Budget is anything up to £400. Less I spend the better really. Thanks for any advice/input
