Hi All,

I've recently upgraded to a snazzy 2700x and Gigabyte Aurus Ultra gaming motherboard.

I've got various partitons for different versions of windows I like to use and one of them will be XP.

When I've installed in the past I think I've changed the drive to ide and its found the setup files from the usb stick. Only problem is now there isn't a setting for ide? So wasn't sure how else to get it installed.

Anyone know a work around?

Cheers for the help,

I did manage to get a bit further in the setup process but it ended up failing. Ashame these mobos dont have older compatible. looks like ill have go virtualbox but I've never got it to fully work on there,

Probably going to be missing quite a bit of driver support for the CPU and chipset on an OS that old.
