Summary: I'm the sole driver on an insurance policy (my only policy as I fancied driving a classic for a year everyday!) and I'm about three weeks from the end of the policy. I'm told by the insurance company that because of the age of my vehicle they will only issue me with a "Claim free certificate". The problem is that I'm not sure this is valid as a NCB which could cost me a large lum of dollar when I insure a newer car!

Anyone explain what the certificate is and means and if it count's as proof of NCB?

I rang the insurance company but just got a vauge answer of umms and ahh's :p
