If a car is taxed and MOT'd but has no insurance are you still able to keep it parked on a street or should it be stored elsewhere?

I'm pretty sure you're going to say no it should be off the road, but thought i'd ask.

I thought it only needed to be insured to drive,as the tax covers it being on the road.

    What?

The street is a public highway - so it needs insurance even if it's stood.

Only if someone is going to run into a parked car and they are hardly going to claim off you. :D

If the hand-brake failed on the uninsured parked car and it rolled off and into another car or wall etc........
