Fortunately I did not click the buy button on the E6420 when I spotted a Q6600 for £350 - Looks like someone is testing the waters.

Hopefully this will be the mark that the quads will be going for in the near future.

It's out there in the UK for £350inc for a Q6600 (Intel BX80562Q6600) search harder and have some respect for Spie and OcUK.

As I said I hope these price cuts migrate across all the etailers soon.

I wasnt asking for a compeitor....

I was just trying to clarify if it was a "UK" sourced product... as most sites are around £ 500+

I've found it for £399 ex vat, but that's still a pretty damn good price.

Ouchy hurts very much to see it confirmed at 350 quid, just brought it for £530 about 3 weeks ago...

    so goes on life ;)

E6600 is on at crap price : £177inc
    E6320 : £115inc

The Q6600 could be a goof up as I have bought an E6300 for 80inc in the past.

Should I just place an order ? I'm not actually a fan of the quads
