I am using an ethernet connection and can connect fine using Konqueror ( using it now ) but Firefox will not connect, nothing happens.
I have had a look at ' Connection monitor' and the graph shows it working on Eth(0) but at the bottom it shows (No connection). It also shows how much has been downloaded & upload.
Also it will not work for ' online updates ' just says can't connect.
I have set it up as a LAN & direct connection.
    Any ideas please.
    Casey.

Disable ipv6 or setup your dns to there defaults and not your router (if your using a router)

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I have taken Mandrake off to try Suse 10.1 64 & run into trouble with that (no Cursor). Not sure what to do now.
