    do you think its worth replacing my amd 64 4000+ with an amd 64 x2 4800+ ?

    depends what you do. Is it 939? if so id get best chip as they are being faised out

    my sandiago 4000+
    or the x2 4800+ that i might purchase

    ...because Socket 939 chip's will be extinct soon & IMO now is the best time to pick up one for a bargain :cool:

    Unless you urgently need the cash (& seeing that they are going for only £105.69 incl. VAT), I'd hold on to it & sell it when in high demand for a ridiculous price :D
