Is my memory running at the right speed?

Just built my first PC in about 15 years, and I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to hardware.

Anyway, to get me started I've installed a couple of sticks of Corsair Vengence DDR4 3200 Mhz

But My bios says DRAM frequency is 2133 Mhz, and a Specs utility is reporting "16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36)".

Is that how it should be?

Cheers.

You need to enable XMP as your ram is just running at stock speeds at the moment.

When XMP enabled it should show 1600MHz (DDR - Double Data Rate so x2 = 3200MHz)
