Is my Samsung 830 SSD knackered?!

No, got it in Aug 2012, it only had a 3 year warranty.

Seems to be running ok now, Win7 has installed ok and I'm currently running the Win10 upgrade. Soething got seriously screwed up on it before but I think it's ok now.

What was the exact thing/step that got the SSD working again?

I have 4 Samsung 830's, I think they were some of the best SSD's in term's of reliability ever made.
