Yep, Ive known a few people have had knock from the tax man, usually asking for (stupid keyboard at work has no pound sign) 1000's!
One bloke I know got done for well over 10k.
They want to know pretty much everything about everything when they do come look.

One of my mates dads specialises in 4x4s. Strouds is the name, they are based on the A338 between Salisbury and Ringwood. My mate has started selling Jap Import cars on his dads forecourt and i think he's making a decent living. He's 21 and drives a Skyline (GT-S, however). I don't know how much money is in it tbh, don't really speak to him much. But i guess he's doing alright.

I sold an Import to a friend and within a few days he pulled the ashtray out and found a big stash of japanese bank notes behind it

Thats nothing, when I took my Imported GTIR apart I found a dodgy bottle of little white pills and a decent supply of fishing reel and lead weights under the carpet. Where the connection with the pills and the fishing equipment comes in I've no idea!

I'd imagine you would use the line and weights to suspend stuff in the fuel tank that you didn't want finding - just a random guess thou

either that or the previous owner was a fisherman with some kinda condition that required pills

I've found all kinds of wierd and wonderful stuff in Japanese imports when I was importing them. Even found a tube of Japanese 'love lube' under the drivers seat in one of them.
