My machine has suddenly decided to make powering up a game of chance - only about one in 50-100 presses of the power button result in it actaully awakening from its slumber and turning on.
I've had the side off and used the power button on the board (Socket 939 DFI Lanparty UF3) and the same problem perisists, so it's nothing to do with the power switch itself.
I notice that the power indicator LED on the board randomly turns on and off - when it's on you can start the machine and it will happily run until you shut it down (haven't run it for more than an hour but it seems ok when it's started).
I assume it's a board/psu problem, but I dont really want to splash out on the wrong thing...
Any ideas welcome!
