I'm sure it makes a small difference, but if theres an inherent issue with the engine which makes it coke up, it will do it no matter what fuel you use.

It's not the fuel that does this as GDI engines don't flow the fuel over the intake valves.

What causes this build up is the crank case ventilation that's fed into the intake, the oil from this flows over and cakes on. With port injection this will be washed off as it goes.

Since I cant just get a 2nd set of injectors and do port + direct injection I will be getting some catch cans to filter the crank case release gasses first.
