I have two music folders, Tunes1 and Tunes2, each linked to an ipod, and I want to have one folder with both iPods using it as the master library. I don't want to lose the playlists etc on the individual ipods. Each folder has some duplicate music folders/files in it and I want to avoid having duplicate tracks in the master folder - Tunes2. I plan to set Tunes2 as the iTunes media folder location in preferences on the Tunes1 account then use the consolidate feature in iTunes to copy all files from Tunes1 into Tunes2. Will this add duplicate music folders/files to Tunes 2 or will it skip duplicates?
