I have a case with a front panel USB C, was looking at getting a b550 to future proof, but none of the cheaper ones seem to have an internal USB C header. Is it possible to adapt a standard header, or is that insane?

Just wanting to get a reasonable board for my build and trying not to spend more than the actual cost of my CPU!!

The 4 B450 Mini ITX board that OCUK stock dont have them natively.

It is possible to adapt the USB 3.0 motherboard header.

The only one that has a header is a dtx x570 from asus. You will need to check if you case is compatibility for the dtx standard.
