Hi guys, basically I'm having problems installing KB905474, as it gets about 2/3s of the way through the installation then freezes.
From that point on, when the computer is rebooted, it will consistantly freeze after a few minutes of starting up. The only cure is to use system restore from a time before trying to install the patch.

I've googled the issue, but it hasn't turned up any solution apart from "it must have been a bad download - try again". But its been tried several times and always happens the same..

..Can anyone offer any advice on this?
And yes - it is a legit version of windows

Are you sure you are re-downloading it? Your not just running the same one over and over? I.e its in the Windows Update temp file?
