Hi there Now I personally would drop the additional £30 for a 1660, however in this price sector for some that £20-£30 difference counts and this deal is simply incredible considering its not just a run of the mill crap 1060, it is one of the best 1060's made: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £169.99 inc VAT GV-N1060G1 GAMING-6GD, Core Clock: 1620MHz, Boost Clock: 1847MHz, Memory: 6144MB 8008MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 1280, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 3 Years Warranty. Very nice deal! Incidentally @Gibbo when do you guys make the "This Week Only" Deal Live on the webiste?
My basket at Overclockers UK: 1 x Gigabyte Aorus B450 Pro, Ryzen 2600 Bundle with Free 700W PSU= £249.98 Total: £260.48 (includes shipping: £10.50) core system for £420....
That bundle looks an awesome deal. Shame it doesn’t offer RAM instead of a PSU. Most upgraders already have a perfectly good PSU.
prob more intended for people after a first time build - know gigabyte offer their own ram but not as cheap as Team Group and only to 2666hz
i think the gigabyte psus arent shifting so they doing it in bundles the mobo bundle is being offered by many places or its just a gigabyte tie in deal. tbh the mobo deal and the 1060 gpu deal is great prices. its a nice time to be buying decent pc stuff price wise.
Yes some normality is returning hugely helped by NAND falling to new lows and memory pricing actually now being reasonable. With AMD with Ryzen its possible to build a very capable 1080P PC without spending an absolute fortune.
