I don't think tests will ever be ahead of the doping, there will always be something.

I too can't believe Armstrong was clean throughout his career, and I think it would destroy his legacy if it came out.

Agreed, but the biological passport system doesn't rely on detection of individual substances, only in changes to a persons overall phsiology and thats the key I think, although wether theres a risk of a false positive is another question.
